Rather brief story about how I started to with Poland

Long time ago I used to work for a big company. I was pretty young and 1 of the thing about my job that I enjoyed the most back then was that I had a chance to travel a lot. I really enjoyed the fact that I could spend one day in Barcelona, one month in Paris, and another day in New York. I felt that it was kind of travelling for free. Normally, I was living in London and I liked it. I had my apartment there, my friends, family and everything else what was making me content and what I needed to totally rest after so many business trips.

And then 1 day, entirely unexpectedly, I have received that email that I was chosen to set up the office in another city. At the beginning I wasn’t totally aware what it meant for me. I thought that it meant just more short trips. But then it turned out that I had to move to Poland. Not only take trips to Poland but absolutely moved there. I gotta admit that I didn’t know what to think. I have to also admit that I was rather sad about that. I not only had to leave on London and move to other city, but also to 1 of these Eastern European countries, I have never been to earlier. But made up my mind to give it a try. This was supposed to be just for 3 years so I thought that this was not so long after all.

So you may be wondering what has happened that I have been in Poland 25 years longer? My reply is rather simple. I just fall in love with this country. It wasn’t love at the first sight. It didn’t occur at once. It took a moment. But as soon as I moved there I noticed that guys are amazing. Even though they do not smile to each other and they are not very talkative, they are greatly helpful always when you need their help. You can be sure that if something is going wrong, there is always somebody that is going to react and help you. I also fall in love with Polish women.

They are very charming. I believe that it is rather pointless to write that my wife is also Polish? Additionally, I fall in love with Polish customs. I really love that they are very close with family’ members and they spend all of these great traditional holidays together. Certainly, sometimes I had also hard days. E.g., when I couldn’t say anything in Polish and nobody else could speak English. But then I made a decision to sign for polish course warsaw and now I speak Polish- more info: polish course warsaw! So as you can see – that was not always easy, but it was unquestionably worth it.
